Daisy Scout Troop #13434 Lenten Service Project
St Joseph's Daisey Scout Troop #13434 (first grade girls) held a food drive campaign as a Lenten Service Project during the entire month of April. The Troop provided collection bins and created signs to encourage students in grades K-8 to donate canned goods to the Saint Jospeh Saint Vincent de Paul Society. The project was a HUGE success. The Daisy Scouts collected over 800 cans of food which will help feed the many less fortunate in our area. The Daisy Scouts wish to give a special Thank You! to Deacon Bruce Reed and Mrs Carol D'Onofrio for the help with the drop off canned goods.
Job Well Done girls!!!! On behalf of the 100's of needy people you've assisted and all of us at
Saint Vincent de Paul... THANK YOU!

How Can You Help?
No matter what your budget or schedule holds, there is always a way you can make a
big difference in someone's life. Not all donations are monetary. Through
volunteering, fundraising, and coordinating food and clothing drives, you can
find the opportunity that works best for you.
Hold a Food Drive or Make an Individual Contribution
Whether you are interested in an individual contribution or holding a food drive, every effort helps another individual or family in need.
The food pantry is open every Monday from 10AM until 3PM except for holidays. The food pantry is located on church property, 87 Lacy Street. It is attached to the rear of PMC building. As you face the front of the church look to the left and you will see the red brick PMC building. Go around the front of the PMC building, past the chapel, and turn right. You will be looking at the food
pantry, a small, white building attached to the brick building. Knock on the door of the white building for service
Food Pantry Needed Items (Donations accepted all year long)
All items are low but we are in especial need of canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, peanut butter and jelly, and bottled water.
We thank you for your continued generosity and support of Saint Joseph’s SVDP.
